Did You Know….Each year the Shasta Mud Run attracts 1,500 β 2,000 participants and keeps growing. This is a fantastic event for businesses to not only support a worthy cause but have the opportunity to showcase their goods and services to race participants and the hundreds of spectators that attend. The energy is high, the music is rocking and everyone is there having a great time! Youth Options Shasta is a 501c3 nonprofit that manages several essential programs serving youth in Shasta County including, Youth Peer Court, Mentoring, Youth Fire Prevention and Intervention, and Shasta Youth Leadership Camp (SYLC). The Youth Action Council and Shasta Youth Peer Court invite you come together as one unified community to pay tribute to those who lost their lives on, or as a result of, the tragic events of 9/11. This day reminds us of the strength and resilience of the human spirit. Let's unite in memory and ensure that the heroes and victims of that day are never forgotten.
